Episode 10 - Breaches are all the Rage
In this episode I talk about the Twitter takeover that resulted in security and governance staff leaving en masse, and the impact this has had on online security.
In this video you can clearly see I have no DM's on Twitter, bar one, as they were all "deleted".
Then I click on Bookmarks, and click back on DM's and they are visible. Ergo, not deleted at all.
I made a request for DM deletion to Twitter, which was subsequently ignored. Instead, I was given a generic script to deactivate my account in direct contravention of GDPR Art 17. The Information Commissioner's Office will no doubt be delighted.
Edit: The report and response is attached.
I then talk about some of the implications of the LastPass breach and what I've done about it. Maybe it will inspire you.

“I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.”
And unfortunate timing meant I missed the golden opportunity to mention the Twitter breach where 200 million users emails are for sale. Going well, isn't it?
