Why is it so cold with frosts in April?
The weather in April can vary greatly depending on many factors, including the location and prevailing atmospheric conditions. However, generally speaking, April is still a transitional month between winter and spring in many parts of the world, including the UK.
Cold temperatures and frosts can still occur in April due to the lingering effects of winter weather patterns and the slow warming of the earth as the days grow longer. Additionally, atmospheric conditions such as high pressure systems can result in clear, calm nights which can lead to frosts.
It's also worth noting that weather patterns can be affected by various natural and human-made factors such as El Niño/La Niña events, global warming, and other forms of climate change.
